12 Days of Beermas!

Join us for the holidays at Llywelyn's Pub Webster Groves

where we will be releasing a rare and delicious beer each day for 12 days (at 3pm)...

On the 1st day of Beermas my true love sent to me...

An Odell Brewing Co. 25th Anniversary and an ODell Friek!
25th Anniversary is a collaboration with Boulevard Brewing Company
The latter is the 2011 Great American Beer Festival winner for the Wood and Barrel Aged Sour category
mmm raspberries and cherry!

On the 2nd day of Beermas my true love sent to me...

4 Hands Blackberry Chocolate Milk Stout
A 4 Hands Super-Seasonal rarity, this beer has the flavors of Chocolate milk, with a hint of that Blackberry Jam mixed in.

On the 3rd Day of Beermas...

Founder's Big Lushious - Raspeberry Imperial Stout

On the 4th day of Beermas...

Stone Enjoy By IPA: You have in your hands a devastatingly fresh double IPA. While freshness is a key component of many beers – especially big, citrusy, floral IPAs – we’ve taken it further, a lot further, in this IPA. You see, we specifically brewed it NOT to last. We’ve not only gone to extensive lengths to ensure that you’re getting this beer in your hands within an extraordinarily short window, we made sure that the Enjoy By date isn’t randomly etched in tiny text somewhere on the label, to be overlooked by all but the most attentive of retailers and consumers. Instead, we’ve sent a clear message with the name of the beer itself that there is no better time than right now to enjoy this IPA.

On the 5th day of Beermas...

Schlafly Xmas Ale: Our Christmas Ale is a warming winter ale that blends the spices of the season with sweet caramel malt.  Orange peel, juniper berries, ginger root, cardamom and cloves are added for spiciness.  We use honey in the fermentation process, which raises the ABV without producing too much heat from the alcohol content.

On the 6th Day of Beermas...

Abita Xmas Ale: Each year at the Abita Brewery we craft a special dark ale for the holiday season. The recipe changes each year so that Abita Christmas Ale is always the perfect gift. Its spicy character is excellent with traditional holiday foods such as gingerbread or spiced nuts. Try some blue cheese or a creamy Camembert with a Christmas Ale.

On the 7th Day of Beermas...

Rogue Yellow Snow IPA:Pale golden in color with a hoppy fruity aroma. Big hop flavor up front complemented by medium body and hoppyness mid-pallet. It finishes with a characteristic, lingering bitterness.

On the 8th Day of Beermas...

Stone Master of Disguise Golden Stout: Thus we took the spirit of a dark beer—the time-honored stout—and applied a similar science of thought, brewing it to be golden-hued. Cocoa and coffee beans impart roastiness sans darkening to this brew, while flaked oats provide an enveloping mouthfeel. The result is a stout that looks more like a blonde, but is a raven beauty at heart.

On the 9th Day of Beermas...

Bell's Expedition Imperial Stout: One of the earliest examples of the Russian Imperial Stout in the United States, Expedition Stout offers immensely complex flavors crafted specifically with vintage aging in mind, as its profile will continue to mature and develop over the years. A huge malt body is matched to a heady blend of chocolate, dark fruits, and other aromas. Intensely bitter in its early months, the flavors will slowly meld and grow in depth as the beer ages.

On the 10th Day of Beermas...

Perennial Fete De Noel: A 10%-ABV Belgian dark strong brewed with orange zest, raisins and rosemary. The most surprising aspect of this beer is, despite its big ABV, how light and fluffy it washes over the tongue. An intricately woven profile offers brown bread, caramel, sweet dark fruits and a prominent thread of floral, earthy rosemary; just a subtle hint of orange zest accents the swallow. A drying finish tidies up each delicious sip.

On the 11th Day of Beermas...

Humbolt Brewind Company (Nectar Ales) Black Xantus: Our Imperial Stout is infused with fair-trade, organic coffee from a local roaster, Jobella, and aged for 6 months in a combination of Bourbon, retired Firestone Union and wine barrels. Black Xantus packs a powerful punch.

On the 12th Day of Beermas..

Cathedral Square Holy Moly: Brewed in the Russian Imperial Stout style, this offering boasts plenty of malt character and an aggressive amount of hops. A rich, flavorful ale with a finish you won’t believe.
