Greetings Friends, We’re smack in the middle of the “Dog Days” of summer now, which means August is here and summer will be over soon. But don't be tempted to stay at home; there are lots of great events to check out at Llywelyn’s Pub before the summer ends. August Schedule of Events: Llywelyn’s Pub Grub Challenge Llywelyn’s is finalizing the plans of our new Fall Special menu items and while asking around for suggestions from staff, we thought it would be a fun idea if one of our VIP guests created one of our new fall specials. So, Llywelyn’s VIP Members, what do you want to see added to our menu? We want to hear from you. Enter Llywelyn’s Pub Grub Challenge! We’ll take fall menu item ideas for one month.  After all entries are in, we’ll select the item that we would like to see go on our new fall specials menu.  We suggest you come in and try some of our favorites for inspiration, to know exactly what it is you are competing with. So get creative, think Welsh, Scottish, Irish… and ask yourself if it will fit into our overall menu scheme.  Then go for it! The winner will receive a $75 Gift Certificate, a Llywelyn’s Pub T-shirt and a claim to fame – a chance to tell all their friends and family that they created our newest fall menu item! Fri August 20th- Sun August 22nd St. Charles : Festival of the Little Hills The Festival of the Little Hills, in historic St. Charles , is one of the St. Louis region's favorite summer festivals. Historic Main Street and Frontier Park are filled with booths selling everything from jewelry and art, to kid’s clothes and holiday decorations. More than 300 vendors from 30 states set up shop during the three day event. Shopping isn't the only attraction though. There's live music, kids activities and some of the best food around! Be sure to stop into Llywelyn’s Pub on Main Street and take a break from the summer heat! Mon August 23rd Webster: Dining to Donate Night Eat, drink, and support our neighborhood athletes!
